Gorgeous Container House Located Between the Rainforest and the Pacific Ocean

Hi everybody

We continue to discover for you. Our container house on today’s tour is from Uvita, Costa Rica.

Container houses started to emerge as one of the most important architectural developments of today. Standing out with their modular structures, innovative modern designs, environmental friendliness and extremely fast construction processes, container houses have already begun to be preferred all over the world. These structures, which were first used as cafes, shops or roadside restaurants, are now preferred by many people for residential purposes.

If you also want to learn about this container house, you should continue reading our article 🙂

In this article, we will show you a container house that is unique in its location and design. This magnificent house was built by Anne Stawinski & Lenin Duran.

The container house is located in Uvita, one of the most visited seaside town in Costa Rica.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Casa Unicornio Azul Villa has 4 bedrooms and a kitchen. The kitchen and living room are open concept and spacious. This wonderful container house built in a modern looking style has 360 degrees of sea and forest views. You can enjoy ocean views and vibrant sunsets while sitting on the veranda.

The container house location is really amazing. Because you are completely hidden. You don’t have to worry about being seen by the neighbors.

The model of the container house is quite successful. Downstairs, there are two parallel shipping containers with a space between them. There are 2 shipping containers upstairs, but their layout is slightly different than the one downstairs. The part between the containers on the ground floor was used as a hall and a very spacious area emerged. At the entrance of the house, the part between the containers was covered with glass mosaic stones. In this way, the light inside was preserved.

The stairs to the upper floor of the house are made behind glass mosaic bricks and covered with glass partitions in order not to reduce the usable container space.

Pieces cut from shipping containers were used to expand the containers downstairs, thus providing more seating space.

The white exterior coatings used in this wonderful house in a lush nature look very good at the house. We also thank Anne Stawinski & Lenin Duran couple for bringing such a magnificent house to container architecture.
