Shining Tiny Container House

Hi everybody

We continue to discover for you. Our container house on today’s tour is from South Korea.

We are here again with a custom made container house. We really enjoy sharing container homes located in South Korea. Shipping container houses that we can see all over the world are on one side, those in South Korea are on the other. Container houses produced outside of standard sizes are very popular and really useful in this country.

The small container house we will show you today is Length 3m * Width 6m * Height 3m. Let’s briefly talk about the house. The interior walls and ceiling of the container house are covered with water-based soft foam, and the bottom with water-based rigid foam insulation. Drywalls were used in the interior decoration of the house and covered with wallpapers.

The exterior of the container house is covered with a wonderful red paint as in our previous article. Since custom-made containers are not recycled like shipping containers, there is no dent or deformation on them.

This allows the container to give a smooth appearance after being painted.

Sliding windows are also used in this container house and the profiles are black. The lighting on the sides of the container house, door, window profiles and veranda railings were painted black and a very cool look emerged.

The interior of the house is made with simplicity reflecting the Korean style we are used to. Among the details that attract attention are the stairs and curtains to the bed.

Nothing extra was used in the container house except the need. Inside the house, there is a small kitchen and a standard bathroom-toilet far from luxury.

The selling price of this custom built container house is $14,500.

Convenient in lifting, fixing and compounding, Container Homes are gaining considerable traction around the world. Container homes are considered as eco-friendly houses and buildings based on non-polluting materials. In recent past, a significant rise in demand for affordable housing structures has been witnessed.
