Welcome to Utah’s largest shipping container house!
Starting with a dream of home owners, this house is one of the houses that should be taken as an example in terms of sustainability and environmental factors.
When the house is completed, 1,920 square foot, two story house with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, laundry room, great room, carport, and a deck.
Located in Glendale, Utah. We are surrounded by National Parks, National Forests, National Monuments and State Parks, plus a wide variety of scenic roads and trails and lots of things to do outdoors.
It may not look like a very striking home from the outside. But when we look closely, this house is incredible when we consider the benefits it provides to the environment, as it is made with recycled products.
In addition, the interior is really beautifully designed. We congratulate the hosts.

Hi, We are Jarad & Kristy Brinkerhoff. We live in beautiful Glendale, Utah. We have 4 kids (3 girls and 1 boy).
We live on a small farm with chickens, peacocks, sheep, goats, dogs, and a Llama.In August 2017 we decided to take a leap of faith and start building a container home. For years we talked about doing this and trying something new and creative, something out of the normal, something maybe even unusual. We decided to do a container home because we wanted to build sustainable.
By using things that are already made and could be re-purposed.We wanted to have our kids involved in this project to help them learn new skills. Jarad likes to work with metal and enjoys building things from metal. So it was a great fit. We wanted to do something that could be useful and beautiful to bring our family together.
We look forward to having others come and experience the joy that this container house brings!
